VNS Update - the 0.75 mA setting is a lot more noticeable than .50 was...

there are changes to my voice - i find myself becoming hoarse or losing it completely for a few seconds - not the "Bea Arthur after a testosterone shot" effect that another VNS patient described, but i can understand what i was reading from other patients about the voice change - at first i thought they were exaggerating quite a bit, now i realize they must've had it tuned to higher settings than i have...

i also sometimes find myself short of breath when it starts up, i guess it depends on what i'm doing at the time - if it catches me off guard or while i'm right in the middle of something, i'm more likely to have adverse effects...

there's also more pain associated with it - i have a slight earache while it's pulsing.

having it actually going off every five minutes is making it more noticeable as well...

think it's time for a nap now - not sure if it's just the weird brain stuff going on or if i'm dealing with side effects from the Keppra, but i'm really tired nowadays...*yawn*
