stop by the "Pro-Family" (ie Pro-Heterosexual-And-That's-It) website of the American Family Association at marriagepoll.com and tell 'em you're in favor of the legalization of marriage for gays & lesbians as well as heteros!
ya know, i think that perhaps what i really would select is option #4 on that poll, except it doesn't exist - why the hell should married people get any benefits that single people don't? the divorce rates these days show that it's not exactly "til death do us part" any more - i think everyone should have the same, EQUAL rights. i'm not married, but hey, if i wanna fill out legal paperwork that says if something should happen to me, i want this person to make any important decisions, it should be just as easy for me to do it than as if it were a husband/wife situation.

Downhillbattle.org's stickering campaign
downhillbattle.org's stickering campaign is focussed on enlightening people about what their purchase of music from major labels does to independent music...very interesting.

best comment on Fark regarding the capture of Saddam...
props go out to Farker Purple_Jack, who said:
IT'S OFFICIAL:
Osama is now the undisputed 'World Hide and Seek Champion'.
now one thing i don't understand all the news reports trumpeting the fact that Saddam was captured without a shot being fired...errrr, well, okay, they captured him and didn't shoot anyone at that specific time, but i believe more than a few shots have been fired in this thing, and the friends and families of those killed in Iraq this year might take some offense to that thoughtless comment...
